This beautiful and ornate limestone facade town house presented many challenges. We were charged with modernizing the building while retaining much of the original detail throughout. The basement space was excavated and structural steel was employed to open up the kitchen and rear facade. All the floors were reconfigured but the upper two were completely new plans requiring extensive plumbing and framing. In a close collaboration with interior designer Jessica Helgerson the new details, molding and millwork, were designed to fit in the building as if original.
